My name is Darren Keen. I am from Lincoln, NE. For the past 8 years, I have spent a lot of time touring, playing around 1,000 shows in the US, Europe, and New Zealand.

The Show is the Rainbow is a funny, fun band, blending elements offunk, dance, and hip hop, with live multimedia weirdness, and a fat,furry, frontman who is funnier then your funniest friend. Let's befriends, then that won't be quite as true.

I have released records on Retard Disco, SAF Records, Yosada Records, and others. I recently started releasing my own albums on my own "It Are Good" records, which was lucky to find distribution through the forward thinking, electronic label, Illegal Art Records. My newest album "Tickled Pink" has a giant gross zombie vagina on the cover, and covers a lot of ground, conceptually. Many of the themes on the album deal with getting older (I'm 28 now) and still wanting to keep hope alive that one day my music could catch on in a big way. It's about not giving up on your dreams, no matter how distant they start seeming.
